Default Replacing headlight bulb...

I got the lamp part off and the bulb is on a metal bracket looking thing... I ripped it out, ouch. Are these not suppose to be changeable?

96 3.8L. I dont think bulbs can be replaced, I think you have to buy the whole piece.

yes the headlights are sealbeams and you change the whole thing. sometimes you will get into a bad batch and go though a few in a short time. i went though 6 headlights in one year, once. anyways there not hard to change. driving lights are a different story.

See, I bought this thinking I could pop the old bulb off and stick it on, http://www.amazon.com/CHEVROLET-Cama.../dp/B000LJESDU Thats a no right? And this is how the actual piece looks like, http://www.google.com/products/catal...d=0CGwQ8wIwBQ# All I did is try to pull that bulb out and replace it with another bulb cause they blew out... I bet your loling right now, shaking your head.

neither are the right one for the headlight. first is for the tail/parking lights. second is not for a camaro. you have high and low beam headlights. one of each on each side. here is what you want. h4351 or h4352. this is what i found and its a xtravision which cost a little more and i have not tried yet but i will next time one goes.

Thanks. You guys are great, I ask and post to many topics but it really does help me learn. So, you cant replace the bulb at all by itself? They make you get the whole set? Greedy!
