replacement speakers?

Default replacement speakers?

how would i replace my speakers on my doors and sail panels? before i take i take anything off, i want a good idea on what will need to be done! thanks!

Door panel has to come off, rear grilles removed will give access to the sail panel speakers.

Yeah, have fun with that. The toughest part will be taking off the door handle bezels prior to taking the actual door panel off. Biggest PITA

Do you have power or manual windows? Cause you have to take off the crank if it's manual

its automatic. i read online somewhere that theres some sort of adapater for the speakers and wires? they said i needed this...Metra 72-4568 (met-724568) Speaker Harness for Select GM Vehicles

anyone with any knowledge?

pretty sure thats them, dont know if they work with bose system

I got tired of messing with my Bose/ aftermarket mix... It never quite sounded right so Im working on just replacing all the old stuff with new. The bose are great speakers, but they're also almost 20 yeas old in my at and they're not aging well

do i need those adapters? everytime i replaced speakers on my buddies car it was a simple + and -. what are with these adapters?

they adapt the stock wire connector to an aftermarket speaker connector
