Default Replacement headlamp assembly?

Just bought a '97 SS. The one thing I don't like about older cars are the headlamps. I'm used to HID's and would like similar clarity, instead of the standard dim yellow. Has anyone found any HID replacements? I'm talking about true HID's (with ballasts), not the bulbs that PIAA claims to be HID; I've had them in the past. They're nice, compared to standard, however do not compare to true xenon.
Thanks!

Go to www.xenonrider.com

That's where I got mine, however mine are for an '00 But the guy that runs the business is named Joseph, he's very knowledgable (sp?) my buddy has a 94 Z and Joseph was saying that he could find a kit for him if he wanted.

I highly recommend him, me and my dad have both bought them for all our cars and motorcycles.

And they ARE an acutal kit with ballasts etc. Just plug everything together and light 'em up

His business phone is 626-378-8138

I have true HIDs on my '97. Bought them off eBay. Hardest part of install was finding a place to mount the ballasts.

I just zip-tied them to a flat surface. Where did you find the lenses? eBay?

I bought the housings from eurolamps.com. Same as stock, but bulbs are held in by a clip at the back. You don't even need to do that though. You can just twist your old bulbs out of the housing, and use some sealant to secure the new ones into place. As for the ballasts, I just hung them from each side of the engine bay's hood stops/rests.

I would zip-tie them or secure them somehow. You dont want them vibrating or rubbing/banging on anything

They are bolted where they are. Hanging in a holder/bracket, and it's bolted where it's at.

Are you talking about how I mounted it?
