after having to do the swap and everything, yes it would be easier on your wallet to do a 383 lt1 assuming you are trying to get the same power out of both. doing a straight ls1 swap would be cheaper probably, but won't be as fast as the 383 lt1

 

yea thats wat i figured + id still hav the lt1 and be able to take down most of them ls1 guys at the track who think there so much better

 

Untill you run into a guy running heads and cam with a big stall.
I would it's only worth the swap if you find a SMOKING DEAL on a LS1 with the engine, trans and harnesses.

 

but the 200 shot of nitrous on that 383 will make up for his big heads/cam
and thanx i kinda hav realized lookin around and i cant find an ls1 for less then 3k

 

anyone know the exact parts that one need to buy for the swap from lt1 to an ls1?
