Default Removing stock manifolds

Can anyone provide me a detailed discription on the best way to remove the stock manifolds from a 4th gen 3.4L so I can install my headers? (Preferably without lifting the engine) Ive bloodied my knuckles already getting the three bolts off of the drivers side(Outside the heatshield) and i'm looking at it like "****..what now?". I've already removed my alternator and such from the passenger side. I appreciate it; I've been looking around and cant seem to find a good detailed description.

its hard to change them with the 3.4 intact. my opinion. the driver's side is not bad, but the passenger side there's that last bolt right behind the compressor that's hard to reach. I personally changed mines while I had the motor dropped from the bottom. its either hard to reach or the bolt is rusted. if you break a bolt you gonna have drop it anyway. either way its gonna take some time.

Yeah that's why I'm doing little work at a time so I dont strain my self too much and just give up and take a break, I always hear the passenger side is the worst part.

my opinion...which is more time consuming is to unbolt the k member from the body drop it about a foot or two then swap it out. there's more to it that just unbolting the k member, but I didn't want to leave a story.
