Removing Clutch Master Cylinder in 93 Z28

Anybody out there replaced the clutch master cylinder in a 93 or equivalent Z28? I've got the nuts off from inside the car on the firewall. Linkage to the clutch pedal came off pretty easy. Problem is that the master cylinder itself is cooperating when I try to pull it off at the firewall. The shop isn't very helpful, just says remove nuts and remove cylinder. With everything that is in the way (Brake vacuum booster etc) it is hard to see what I'm doing. It looks like everything's pretty tight in there.

Got all the other stuff figured out bleeding etc. Just looking for some hints from somebody who's done this job.
Thanks for your help

heres the parts manual, it should have a breakdown for you to look at http://performanceworks1.com/PDF%20F...s%20Manual.pdf ill have a look and see what the book says. you should pick up a factory service manual for your year.

I remember when I did mine I had to pull out the U bolts and them twist the master counter clockwise I think to get it out. I remember it getting stuck on something, and it was a pain the butt, but the new one went in pretty easy.
