rear bumper stain removal
since i run headers and hi flows, true duals, its just about wide open. well over time the smog and stuff has stained my rear bumper right above the tips and since the car is white, you can notice the stains big time. does anyone know of any wax or polish or other cleaner that can cover it up or clean it up. i want to try something before i have to use my last resort and paint it.

A heavy duty compound WILL take it off, assuming it does not need to be repainted from the stain (which I doubt).
I used to buff boats, and Gel Coat is a lot more difficult than our clear coat to buff. And there was nothing you couldn't tackle with a acid wash, and heavy duty buff on boats.
As for to chemicals to take it off, you will have to wait for others to chime in...
