Finally have the coin to buy a new car I found this guy on craigslist and autotrader he has had it listed for 22 days now and still has it I have him at 10k my question is is this car a true 2002 ss with all slp options below are the links to his ad

Is this a true ss with factory slp the red flag was when I saw his listing on craigslist then on autotrader the exhaust was dif also I car faxed it and it came back as a z28 but the ss is just an option for the car did this guy just clone it? I really hope not but I need your opinion also is it worth 10k what would you pay for this car?

The first one is more than likely an SLP SS
Ask him to send you picture of the pass door SLP sticker.

The second Chatham is an SS, see the SLP pass door sticker?
The SLP sticker tells date of SLP mods and what was added by them.
Look for floor mats, exhaust, etc.

I would get the Chathem SS

 

Unless you've verified the VIN on both, I don't think that's the same car, even though they have the same kind of miles. Not only is the exhaust different (ok that could be because of a picture taking time difference), but the license plates are different too.
