Radiator

I am replacing my radiator due to a crack in the lovely plastic tank.

I pulled the instructions off Autzone -> Alldata:

http://www.autozone.com/az/cds/en_us...rInfoPages.htm

Step #14 is where I am stuck. I can't seem to find this dehydrator bracket anywhere. I know that dang radiator is hanging on for dear life!

I pulled it off the tabs but something else is holding it to the dehydrator. And yes, I already removed all hoses and the electric fans :)

Help!

RE: Radiator

Remove radiator inlet and outlet hoses at radiator. Remove transmission cooler lines, if so equipped. Remove shroud to radiator support screws. Rest shroud on engine fan. Remove radiator upper support bracket screws and carefully lift radiator from vehicle. If equipped with air conditioning: Remove the bolts holding the receiver dehydrator bottle and let it rest in place. Back out the left front hinge to body bolt. Remove radiator upper support bolts (2 each side) and loosen the lower bolts (1 each side) tilt the radiator support rearward and carefully remove the radiator... This is what you should do step by step... if you have any other questions feel free to ask...

RE: Radiator

Thanks for the detailed instructions. I will take another look at it when I get off work today.

Thank god I am one of the few people who have a 2-car garage in CA and actually have room for a car inside ;)

If you have any images of the screws feel free to post. I have a few days before my radiator arrives in the mail :)

RE: Radiator

Ok, so I checked out this darn radiator I can see to black rubber looking items in the lower section of the radiator. How do I get to these?

RE: Radiator

Thanks carguy_z28 for the more detailed instructions. I am still having issues however.

What radiator support brackets? As far as I can see there are only radiator clips that rest over the condensor. I lifted the radiator and was able to get the radiator off the AC condensor clips. Something is still holding on? I call pull on the radiator from the AC condensor and I can see there is nothing holding the radiator to the AC condensor on the upper portion of the radiator.

I took a few more photos of what I see. Can someone please point to exactly where I can find what screws/brackets or whatever I need to do to get this darn thing out of my car! :(
