All the above is not that high. 5.0 plate kit 650 bucks 100 to 125 shot is well in its limets. None IC turbo kits start at around 2500 bucks and on 6 pounds will pull her down into the low 14s maybe high 13s thats new GT times. Spending some cash on a IC, tuning, fuel, etc. And runing 9 or so pounds with good ruber and gears will pull down to mid to low 13s LS1 times. IF im not mistaken a SC kit with IC will run around 3400 bucks and pull high 13s with supporting mods. Of course it depends on gears, ruber, and tuning. But bassed on the price of a fair condition 5.0 stang 3000-4000 bucks then the basic mods exhaust, headers, injecters, gears you have a good base for all the above.
Your not going veary fast then or not doing it safe. You have to spend time and money on any project. Do you research and talk to the people that have come before you first hand. Think about it SLP intake, MAF, Headers, Y pipe, cat back if its all name brand stuff you have spent any where from 1700-2800 bucks on a LS1. You have to spend money and time to get more out of a stock vehical. If thats too hard then just go out and spend 80 grand on a viper. Or just pick up a V6 gut the cat and figure out the black hole thing and you should be set
