Our cars do good at 1200rpm. I shift into 5th at 35 unless I'm on it. I can still run 4th gear until the speedometer is buried though. So yeah.

 

Sounds kinda like the guy who test drove my Durango and then low balled me for 1/2 what I was asking and 1/2 the value of the truck. I told him no way, he said he can buy this kind of truck for that price all day long and I was the crazy one. Well go and buy it from some one else then. When we left each other's company he said "Good luck selling your truck a$$hole!" Well I left the truck at an empty lot near my house where everyone leaves vehicles to sell and went home. I have left this truck there a few times and got a few calls from this spot so lets try again. A few hours later my friend drives by and notices the truck does not look right. He checks it out and it was trashed end to end interior and exterior. And the guy scratched A$$HOLE in both quarter panels... wonder who it was... too bad I didnt have his phone # we met face to face only. Anyway the insurance paid almost all the amount owed, which was still $5000 more than this guy offered.

you have the 243 rear end right? cuz my 342 would never allow that, 5th gear was like 45 50 at the lowest

 

Nah we have 3.23 factory gears, home slice.

 

ya still parting it out i only had liability on the car that will cover the 10,000$ pole tho

ya 35 in 5th works fine ive been trying to get the mpg up so i was shifting at like 1800 rpm
