^ Well yeah, but I think there may be a "naughty" word there that our site is filtering out.

EDIT: Lol, so I let my imagination run wild (didn't take much), and tried something.
Let's see....5 letter word, hmmmmm.
I'll try the B word that refers to a female dog (or someone's wife, ex-wife, mother-in-law, etc.).
Plug it in and whattaya know, it works!

A simple look at the VIN will settle it. Check the 8th digit (engine code).
"K" means it's a 3.8 V6 car, "G" means it's an LS1 V8, Z28.

Ok, im looking at the vin # now and like you said it is a K in the 8th spot...so why would they still name it a z28??

Who named it? If you mean it has Z28 badges, then a previous owner put them on "just because".

It's a V6 car, not a Z28. The dealers paperwork is a mistake: 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe VIN 2G1FP22K722142856 - Free Chevrolet Camaro VIN Decoder

if you thinkin a false add, yep dealer will claim its a misstake. dealer may have been taken by the po. lol. does happen once in a great while.
