Default Quick question about 2002 Camaro z28

I wanted to know if there is anything special or rare about a 2002 z28 3.8l v6 t-top??

My friend just bought this car and seem to think there was somthing unsual/rare about it?

That's an extremely rare car, considering there's no such thing as a V6 Z28!
Either his car has Z28 badges added, or someone performed a V6 downgrade engine swap.

Picture link doesn't work.
There is a third scenario I forgot to mention, it could be a V6 car that someone converted to a V8, then slapped on Z28 badges. Doing that doesn't make it a "Z28" though.

Question is then, why? Thats a ton of work....I guess if someone had the time/money for that kind of project it might be fun to do....I'd just spend the money and buy a Z28.
