Questions?
Ok I'm new here![sm=happy046.gif]So I have a Fiero that i just spun a rod bearing in my 2.8so i'm going to do the 3.4 camaro swap and i want to set it up for nitrous later on when its broke in. I'm goint to run the Trueleo intake and exhaust with ported and polished heads and the 272H cam and i want to make thisa high compression motor. So i have some questions for you guys?
1. What is theHp rating for the 93-95 camaro 3.4?
2. Is there forged pistons for the 3.4? Or Hyperutitics that reach 10.1 to 10.5?
3. What kinda mods do you guys have done to your 3.4?
4. What kinda Hp and Tq are you getting out of your 3.4's?
5. Are you guys running No EGR?

RE: Questions?
Most put 3800's in them,
You will prolly find more information here http://fastfieros.com/
than on this forum.
And can your transmission handle the power? Remember your transmission is basically a front wheel drive transaxle. Some are quite week.

RE: Questions?
You want a fast car? Unless you're married to the 3.4, put a small block Chevy in it.
This is the guy to check out: http://www.v8archie.com/v8Archie/home.htm
He's near me in IL. He used to be a minute away from my business, but he moved a little further west, near Rockford, IL.
My brother put a v8Archie 350 in his Fiero, and man that thing was quick, and it handled well too.
The 5-speed Getrag is the transaxle of choice. It's more durable than the other one, and it will handle the power as long as you don't go constantly beating on it. Actually, you'll probably twist an axle or two before you blow the trans.
Either way you go, I would give Archie a call. He knows his stuff, and he's a good guy. Anybody who is knowledgable in the Fiero performance world more than likely has heard of him.

RE: Questions?
Really i would love to do the v8 swap but i'm 17 and idk how my step dad is letting
me do the 3.4swap cause its a direct bolt in.And the kit is expensive.
The munci 4spd is really the best tranny for lots of power its the bigger and stronger of the 2 4spd V.S. 5 spd getrag.
3800SC's are popular cause you can build lots of power out of them and it revs faster.
So can anybody help me with my questions?
