Quarter Panel Sticking Out??

Ok so on the passenger side of my 01' SS right behind the front tire, the little piece of body under the SS badge between where the door begins and where the tire is its popping out like about an inch...i do not remember wat could have caused this, a few people have told me that it can be just popped back in easily but id rather have a professional look at it...has anyone ever had this problem?? and wats the best way to fix it?? thanks in advance

open the door, and look between the door and fender, their should be a tab that the fender bolts to, check to see if its bent or pulled out.

THe car was probably lifted or jacked up on the pinch weld. Crawl under it and look at where the fender bolts up. If that area is bent that's the problem. You can usually just pry it back into shape.
