Is there a sort of generic prom available for the 93's that will improve performance? If I were to get one now, and then later added headers/exhaust etc. would I need to have another one burned for that? Should I just wait?

 

I'd wait and have Solomon at LT1 PCM tuning or one of the guys at PCMForLess do a proper tune for it after headers and exhaust. You can have him tune it for 93 octane too if that's the only thing you run. Having it tuned will have the car down for a little while

 

93 is just a matter of changing memcal aka chip. solomon is the best i have found for the 93 lt1. get tune and second tune is included in price, can also fine tune via email. LT1 PCM Tuning - Welcome!
