Default pricing wrecked car

So I've had the wrecked 95 listed for parts on craigslist and have had 2 emails today wanting to know what I'd take for whole car? What would you start with? I know it's not worth a lot but dont want to just give it away. I honestly thought someone would just want something off of it.

I sold my wrecked 3.4 for 500$ that's the best I could get for it. I'd start at 700$ and haggle from there.

Your car is worth more as parts than whole. You'd need to add up the value of all the good parts that can be sold, and that's what it's worth.....to you. I'm currently parting out my sons 3000GT. About half the car's value in parts has been sold so far, and I've already made more than twice of what I could have sold the piece of crap for whole. It's a time consuming pain tho.

go on ebay and do a search for your year camaro. look though all the parts you see and what shape there in and what price is being asked, also look for how long they are listed without being sold and what they sell for.

It comes down to your time and effort vs the extra dollars you'll get. Only you know for sure if $200- maybe $400 more is worth your time and effort. If it is, then sell it part by part and wait for buyers. It might take you months vs the bird in the hand for the whole thing and it gets out of your yard.

No 2 situations are alike
