Possible fix for those replacing monsoon door speakers
I ordered a pair of jbl gt6-6 from crutchfield for the rear seat speakers that were blown, they played well and got decent bass from them, i noticed however that on the back of the speaker there were + and - wires going from the connector to the center of the speaker, so i took a chance and ordered two more, i cut the wire and joined it to the correct wire on the bracket on the door for tweeter and the other two connected to the spade connection for bass. it works perfectly and only cost $69, rather than to go the component route for 200-300.
also i notice my driveshaft has play when i hold it near the transmission, however i cant tell if its the part that goes into the transmission or if its the u joint on the driveshaft, is there anyway to narrow it down?
(110k miles, highly doubt u joints ever changed or part that goes into trans)

thanks for the reply, the u joint at the rear end has zero play, but to be safe i guess i can change it since its 9 bucks, when i gun it on the highway i feel the vibration in my seat and the center console, i just changed the rear control arm bushings the car feels much more planted and less wheel hop i noticed

Did you go for the Moog 1LE style rear LCA bushings? That is what I am doing on both my Camaros:
Guess which are the stockers?

YES< the Moog ones are the SAME as the 1LE discontinued part from GM, Sam Strano confirmed this with the stampings on the bushings.
You should replace both...
