Is your car running funny or something? I would that looks like a MAF plug, but don't know without getting to look at everything.

well we know its not the map sensor because that is located on the backside of the intake. I checked and the egr tube has been blocked off, but my question is this plug in my hand the egr plug?

Check wiring diagrams maybe? The only thing i could tell you is take it to a used car lot or find someone with an LS1 and park yours next to it and look at their plug, not alot of people will let you but its worth a shot.

I'm quite sure that's what my EGR plug looks like. Haven't been under the hood in a while though...
