Default Please I need help troubleshooing

I have a 1997 camaro with a 3.8 v6. I can not get it to run. I have fuel pressure. The computer was not throwing any codes so I have been trying different things in hope of correcting the problem. So far I have changed the brain, the cam sensor, the maf, the plugs, and the crank sensor, It would run rough on start and idle erractically. I changed the coil packs and it ran like brand new for about 5 miles and then it died. Now I can get it to turn over but will not start. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

check the ignition fuse, check for spark at the plug. pull a plug and see what they look like while your doin it. check all the connections on the things that were worked on.

Have your replaced the ICM? You mentioned the coils but not the ICM. That can cause your issues. As for the cam sensor even if those are not operating or plugged in for that matter your engine will still run. The CMS gives the fuel injectors their time to fire. When the CMS is inop the computer goes into limp home mode, puts the in open loop and fires all the injectors at the same time. Your car will run slightly rich and seem to get better performance but all and all not run right.

Yes I replaced the ICM when I switched out the coils. It ran great for a day or so then it backfired and quit. Now it will turn over but will not start. How easy is it test the injectors? Thats about the only thing I have not replaced or tested.

I would look up an injector specialist to have your injectors serviced. Most major cities have them around. There are like 4 in my area (Tacoma WA). To remove the injectors is easy just unbolt the rail and lift it off. Most if not all of the injectors should come off with the rail but if not just pull them out of the intake. After the rail is off then just pull them off the rail.
