Default Pics inside: Rear Sway Bar Help

So under hard acceleration / downshifting under hard acceleration, something in the rear was clunking. After its gotten worse over the month or so, I finally decided to get underneath. To find my rear sway bar undone on one end.

No making fun of my rusty *** rear end or lines

To compare:

And also on the broken side, a sort or rubber pad under the rear end was toast.

My question is, I'm not very familiar with all this or resourceful and need help finding what I need to fix this.

Thanks

Well looks like you need new end links. The other side looks like it is about to join the first one here soon. The mangled up pad looks like a snubber. it is a rubber pad that coushins the rear when the suspension bottoms out.

Here is the part... You should get 2 and do both sides.

Not sure where to find the snubber... Maybe try the junk yards.

Thanks a ton, I just wasn't familiar enough to know what the part was called.

Off to the parts store!

Just go to your local chevy dealership and ask for a new bump stop. Thats what the peice of rubber is.

It looks like you might have the revised end link bushings -- if so, you can get a little better handling from proper endlink replacements as opposed to generic autoparts stores... Which Camaro do you have?

This also would be an ideal time to upgrade your swaybars if you like handling...

It's a 95 Z28 vert. I just picked up a pair of Moog replacements. They had a standard version and a heavy duty one, I ended up with the standard. Right now I'm just in the works of tuning it up and keeping it on the road. No real plans for too much performance stuff in the direct future.

You should get rid of those stock decarbon shocks and get bilsteins or something.
