Default peoples input

just installed the bbk shorty headers on my 96 z28, kind of upset because the way the onesits on the drivers side with the cat. makes it so the cat is hitting on the frame making racket. i thought about making a slightdent not to crush the inside of the cat so it would clear. but don't know. also i have quite a few bolt ons now, and was wondering if anyone could give me a rough estimate on track times. i know stock it is like 14.3 or so but so far i have. k&n CAI, 58mm bbkTB, with ported intake to match throttle body, throttle body bypass, 160 degree T stat, cat back borla exhaust system with bbk shorty headers,3.73 gears with LSP differential. msd 8.5 plug wires, msd coil, with nitto drag radials. just curiouse of some track times i hope u guys say at least high 13's. i know i kill stock lt1's but only street race up to a 100mph unless on a clear road away from everyone. also would it be in my benifit to get a custom pcm tune or go with the programmer. what better pcmforless, or the htpertech? i hope to eventually go with the lt4 conversions with a 383 short block. what HP would that put me at i think around 425 or so if not more.

Well, don't get a hypertech programmer, a pcm tune(preferably custom dyno tuned) will be way better. I'm gonna get a dyno tune in about two weeks.

You'll probably run mid 13's with what you have(providing you're at sea level). Unfortunaley some of your bolt ons really aren't getting you much at this point. The throttle body is almost useless if you have under 400+ hp, and the throttle body bypass is almost uselss, same with the 160 thermo without a tune to make it work as it should. The 3.73's and the drag radials should help, but only if you're good at driving it, and more than likely on your first time you'll have some learning to do. You should look into a custom dyno tune or PCMforless in the least.
