Default PCM Reprogram/Tune--Worth it?

I'm considering getting a PCMforless tune on my car. It's nearly stock, only a metal SLP cold air intake and blackwing air filter. PCM's site claims about 10-14 HP and 1-3 MPG gain for the reprogram.

I could actually manage to do without my car for a week or so while it has no PCM right now (living on campus at college). So now seems like a good time to do this. But--is it worth the $120? I know a lot of people wait til they've done a lot of work on their cars to do this, but it looks like cheap HP and an MPG or two. So, advice?

Not worth it until you at least do headers, midpipe and catback; regardless of being a v6 or v8.

If you have a LS1, I would recommend Frost tuning for your future applications instead of PCMforless
