i have a 96 z28 camaro so far i bought the car with air pump code and p0301 and p0303 and fix that by plugs and wires from autozone and new air pump
but then p0300 so i had a machanic check fuel injectors and wires i put new e.g.r valve still nothing then i paid a machanic to put in a distributor from autozone then guess what he did he took apart my distributor and only put the new cap but not the distributor and he tried to say he put on the hole assebmly so i drove it and it improved but he ripped one of my radiator hoses and then it leeked all over the new distributor cap then it started missing again so what i did was start on the job my self so i got the cap and distributor off and put new distributor on wit the cap the machanic put on and i have to finish puting on my water pump and stuff iam start in the morning and c what happen pleas any advice

P0300 is usually caused by a lean condition, but could also be caused by ignition problems such as a weak ignition coil or a failing Ignition Control Module. Start by checking the fuel pressure with a gauge. There is a sticky in the LT1 section. Just changing the cap on a Optispark usually accomplishes little, as most problems occur with the internal parts..

check the #7 plug and wire, mine went out twice this year.

When you put in the optispark, also give it a new water pump.

always ask for the old parts when having your car worked on. may also want to pull the 02's and see how they look.

I don't know what state you live in but in call they have to show you the old parts by law.

What kind of plugs are you running? Are they new? New wires?
