Optic Spark to Coil Pack

After replacing two Opti Sparks I am curious who has converted to Coil Packs and approx cost (brands) and then does the old Opti only used for timing or electrical? 1994 Camaro Z28 with 90,000 Miles driven about 3000 miles per year.
