I ran it around the key, key just doesn't trip the starter now.

Push button trips starter?

stick key in and turn foward all the way, then move and flip the cover and there is a switch underneath, flip that and let the fuel pump prime fully, hit the engine start and the motor turns over

I have push button in mine also. Same basic setup. Put key in, turn forward, push button. Mine is not as obvious though. The starter button is just a small black button over on the left side of the wheel. Sometimes you have to push it a few times before she fires up. Your setup looks way more professional. Mine was in the car when i got it, and its a neat addition, but i could live without it. I did bet a friend $5 that he couldnt start my car in under a minute. Its been 2 weeks, he still cant start it:)

Mine is on the dash and the button is under the dash, just got this and I'm going to do a new setup
>>>WAITING ON IT TO GET HERE IS SO HARD

i had one on my 3.4, just ran a power wire to a momentary switch and another wire from the switch to the starter.

I had a question though, How hard would it be to take the fuel pump off the keys and throw it on here? Better yet how hard would it be to do away with the keys entirely?

Your key does not directly power up the fuel pump. Your Key powers up the PCM, the PCM powers up the fuel pump. If the key is not used then the PCM will assume someone is trying to steal your car and it will not let the motor start. As craby said above step one to getting rid of the keys is changing the PCM program and removing the cars VAT system.

Right now your push button is just on on off for the starter. To get rid of the key you are going to need to deal with all the wiring connected to your ignition switch. That is a LOT of rewiring. If getting the Vats programmed out of the PCM is not enough to make you rethink getting rid of the keys then remove the underdash cover and look on top of the steering colum at the ignition switch. Your going to have to rewire all of that. IMO that should negate the cool factor of having a push button start.
