Just did my first oil change on the camaro and used royal purple. Hope it works really well, im sure it will. I also love how easy it is to do the oil change on chevy engines everything is within a foot of each other like on all the chevy engines i have ever done.

i tried it, only thing i didnt like was the color didnt let you know how dirty the oil was getting. green oil gets darker as it is used and how it looks on the dip stick will remind me to change the oil. lol. i use mobil 1 for now. check out walymart and see if you can get a better price by the gal. oh and where the heck are the pictures?

Heh... skip the Royal Purple... I've seen conventional (dinosaur) oil with higher specs. Royal Purple is only API SL rated... the current API standard is SM (SN coming soon). Save yourself a couple bucks a quart and get Mobile One, Valvoline Synpower, Or even (ugh) Castrol Syntec. Heck, you might as well pick up some conventional oil...
