Default Odd Security System Issue

Alright I'll try to make this description as simple as possible. When I park my car, open my door, push the power locks button and the close the door, the alarm goes off. So the only way for me to lock my car is manually. This isn't a big problem but if there is a simple fit id love to hear it. It seems the security system is confused as to when to actually activate. Can i reset it? I don't have remote to the car and its a 96 Z28 if that is useful info.

might work. i would look at that wiring to the aftermarket system and see if theres issue there. may have a wire bouncing around or missconnected.
