Newbie-LS1 Z-28 35th Anniv. Conv.
Just bought a 2002 Z-28 35th Anniversary Edition Convertible.
All stock and thinking of doing some upgrades.
Specifically, air intake and exhaust systems. Would appreciate any suggestions for upgrades.
Also, it has the monsoon sound system, but I'd really like to replace it with a bluetooth, mp3 and satellite enabled stereo system with upgraded speakers...so any input on that would be helpful also.
I belong to Triumphrat.net for my motorcycle and have found it extremely helpful in taking care of my bike and it seems that this forum is a similar way to take care of my car.
Thanks guys and gals.

the ls1 only really needs a new lid for an intake. check out whisper lids and slp lids. I run the slp. I also have the flow pack, but its really not worth the trouble. smooth bellows and scoops dont really help anything.
for exhaust, go for LT headers. the install is really pretty easy. you will notice a significant increase.
dynatech and other high end headers are really good, but I went with pacesetters. whats important is that you go with ceramic coated so you arent replacing them in a few years
