Default New TPS

hey guys, after I put in my new 383 I had to adjust the tps (throttle positioning sensor) on it and ended up cracking it. The guy at the chevy dealer said he would get a aftermarket one for better throttle responce Im wondering if I should get a stock replacement for it or go aftermarket. The throttle responce on it now is not very lacking.

Don't see what the difference is. I have never heard of an aftermarket TPS.

lol... I can see why you think it was from tightening but it was actually from me drilling too much of it out, had to make the holes in it bigger so i could adjust it for the 383

Are you using the same throttle body you had before? You shouldn't have to adjust the TPS because the engine changed. If you changed the TB I can understand. If you are needing to adjust idle, either tune it in the PCM or you can adjust the throttle stop screw. May be called the idle adjust screw also. It is the screwagainst which the throttle linkage sits when throttle is not being pressed.
