looks great ,the guy who was looking for a hard top 6 speed ,they are hard to find ,i found one on craigs list 38.000 miles .$5000.00 out of newyork was hard top auto but had shift kit 94 all the other were o1 o2 for under 6000.00 ,low miles cars .,i dont know why someone would want to spend 5000.00 to 12000.00 for a car thats i hard top 6 speed with 150.000 miles over the deals i been seeing ,might be better off to make it .manual,to each there own i guess ,if iwas the guy i would jump all over the hard top auto with shift kit an very low miles,i been looking for another donor 98 to 02 an an oem ss hood there out there right time right place for the 95,yes i would keep it the way it is gorn ,where i live i would not want to lower the car unless raceing already low enough for tall guy .

Yup, mine is staying stock as well. I don't know if I would throw the aluminium shaft in the there though. I trust the stock steel over that for long term use.

The aluminum is rated for higher HP and it is lighter. It is a GM factory unit that came in the Camaro SSs and the Pontiac Firehawks.

My 93 is a M6 hard top. The 2000 Ls1 is a T-top A4.

Ah, okay. I was playing around with the idea of one, seeing as I'll be dropping my drive shaft to replace u-joints here when we pull back in. The aftermarket ones are very specifically rated at no more than 400ft/lbs of torque at the wheels, and they state that you shouldn't run anything other street tires with them. I would suppose an OEM unit would have thicker sidewalls and be built up a little better for more torque.
