Default New here just got 2000 Z28

I have been a member here for awhile and have the member name 68 Camaro. My dad has a 68 Camaro that he has had for about 25 to 30 years. I looked around here at lots of 1st Gen stuff. I just recently got a 2000 Z28 for a summer car. Red LS1 auto T-tops C5 wheels 17" up front and 18" in back. Has a nice stereo with all new speakers CD player and a 10" sub. Came with Magnaflow exhaust for performance and thats about it. In the past couple weeks I have added a complete SLP intake, halo projetor headlights to replace the stock yellowed ones, windows tinted all the way around, painted calipers red to match car which looks really good with the C5 wheels. Have ground effects that are being sanded to get repainted along with a cowl hood this winter. I got a nice $200 car cover cause it has to go to storage in a couple weeks. Thats how I found such a deal, the other guy didn't want to store it. Im looking for any other mods to do and will be around the 4th Gem forums.

It has been great so far. I plan on keeping the car forever. It doesn't ride/drive like my Avalanche but when I'm in it I just love it. Always been a Camaro fan. I plan on keeping it in great shape and adding lots of stuff to it. I have looked over everything on the car and have the 3 huge books for repair and maintenance I plan on checking out. I have been checking out and haven't found anything here about reprogramming the stock computer. I have been looking at PCM for less but plan on adding headers 160 thermostat different rear end and all that in the future to.

that actually seems pretty low from what i've seen. i haven't been able to find anything with decent miles on it for less than 6500, but i'm in atlanta.

I picked it up for $6700. It has 108k miles but really is in great shape. I had to replace the center counsol armrest and a couple rear tires that went really fast in the first couple weeks of showing friends what it can do. I have magnaflow exhasut and now a full SLP intake from the intake duct up to the throttle body. I really want to do headers but not sure which brand is best for my set up so far and a y pipe. I plan on doing the pcm for less reprogram. Right now I think I am not getting enough fuel and have been looking for injectors or a regulator. I have also been looking for a throttle body which might be nescesary with the slp maf. What is a good upgrade for the intake. I have found some LS6 ones and a couple other ones on ebay. Please post any good recomendations for the car from suspension to engine. This winter I am getting the ground effects painted and plan on a cowl hood. Not the 1st gen style cowl but a rounded one. The car is an auto and I have also read that a bigger converter helps. Keep in mind I want to drive this thing all summer and park my 12 mpg Avalanche.
