I have a 2000 SS Camaro with 78,000 miles on it. The interior needs work the paint on the trunk and hood is faded. The car has an automatic transmission which is hard to find in these older Camaro’s. Any suggestions on what it’s worth or offers?

Don't confuse hard to find with value. The 6 speeds have always held more value than the automatics. Since this is not a really sought after car you should look around locally for what cars have sold for. Check out KBB.com but ignore the "Dealer" values. A car like you described may sell for $4500 in Philly and $6500 in Erie PA. How many owners and car fax will also effect value along with any condition issues and service history. .

I paid $8000 for 2001 SS with 86K on the clock about 3 1/2 years ago here in the Pacific NW.
I looked for months for the right car,not a lot of them available up here but this car was very nice so I jumped on it.
It's a 6 speed so more desirable, leather seats and very nice inside and out, never smoked in etc.
Around here I'd say $5-6K for yours without seeing pics, sounds like low miles but not really well cared for.
Less if it was just a Z28 but the SS cars are hard to come by here.
Geography makes a big difference in value.
