Hey guys new guy here and I'm having a problem with my car. I bought a '97 RS about a month ago and it has been great up until now. This past Saturday morning I punched it to pass somebody and it died. It started right back up, but since then to get it started I have to give it a little gas to get it to start, otherwise it immediately dies. Earlier this afternoon it wouldn't stay running either way. I finally got it to start and it ran fine. Once it starts, it runs great. It is a 3.8 auto with 110,000 miles. The check engine light is not on, and there are no trouble codes. Anybody have any suggestions as to what could be causing this?

Sounds like you have a fuel problem. If you haven't changed it yet then I would replace the remote fuel filter. Not the one in the gas tank but the seperate filter running along the fuel line. Try that first cause that is only a $10 part and if that is't it then your only out $10. If that not it then your filter or pump in the tank my be going south. Hope that helps.

It sounds like it may be a fuel pump issue...test the fuel pressure.
As for a "chevy" problem, a 110k miles on a fuel pump is double what any ford would get. One other item could be loose or burnt spark plug wires.
