Default Need Window help!

Hey guys, been awhile since I have posted on the forums. Been busy working on my new bike. Anyway, I need your help!

Not too long ago my drivers side window has started to slow when going up. I have seen this before with my passenger side window and am going to replace it. Now the problem is that the passenger side window has stopped rolling up or down. This was AFTER I replaced the window motor. What could it be? I have heard a couple people say that it is no longer a simple motor issue but something electrical. What could the problem be?

Thanks for the help, awaiting reply so I can fix both motors before the sun goes down. lol

you could check the voltage but I think you got a bad motor.
Where did you get it.

The window could also be binding adding extra stress to the motor

It was a brand new motor, and the thing is it worked great until all of the sudden it stopped working. Can't be the motor.

oh, if it just stopped working, check the switch.
You just need to get ground and power to the motor to test it.
I would start at the switch, just get a test light and see if you are getting power to the switch, then check at the motor.

Actually found out the problem, it was just a bad connector to the motor. Just took a ziptie and used it to hold it in place. A cheap-o solution but I dont think it will hurt any. Thanks for the suggestions though.
