Default Need transmission advice or help?

Has anyone ever taken out a 5 speed manual and replaced it with an automatic? I have everything I need, just don't know what all I do need to do? Any help?

I have a 94 with a 5 speed and the clutch and transmission is out. Good car though. I also have a 94 with an automatic but car has been totaled. Both cars have 3.4. I have seen a lot of places where they put a manual in an automatic car but not what I need.

you will need the the main computer, engine wiring harness, not sure about the under dash and console but i think its got to be changed as well. there is a lockout for neutral and park that i don't think are there in a 5 speed. don't know it the 94 has a bcm or a trans control box. one of those will need to be there.

It sounds like it may be a lot and then it may not be. Why couldn't I just put the computer, shifter, flywheel, and transmission in it and go and not worry about neutral and park switch and button?

The last thing you want is a automatic can that can start in gear. That is very unsafe for you and anyone that may be around.

You also need the section of floor welded that has all the shifter mounting stuff.

Thanks for the advice, I am thinking about that complete harness replace and that would be way to much work for me. I have 3 1994 camaros 2 are 5 speed and one is the totaled automatic, my wife can't really drive a manual so good so that was main reason for the swap.
