Need spring help ASAP!!!!

Default Need spring help ASAP!!!!

Im puttin a set of eibach sportline lowering springs on my 97 Z28. i got the rear done no problem but im havin trouble doin the fronts. do i really have to the top nuts and bolts for the shocks? I need advise asap!!!! thanks.

yep you gota take the shock tower out to change the springs. need a spring compressor and may need to cut the shock shaft to get it off if there old. just gota take the bolts for the brake cylinder out and shift it outa the way enough to get to the bolts

im tryin to pull the master cylender off the booster but i cant its like the plunger inside has a hold of the master cylender. If i pull too hard will it break anything?

i dont think i took it out all the way, just gota move it far enough so you can get to the bolts. i used a star socket for the 3/8 rachet, work great with extension.

Yeah those bolts are a PITA. I used these bits here. Duralast/5 pcs. black oxide chrome vanadium steel star bit set (70-051) | Driver Bit | AutoZone.com
With the master cylinder loose, I was able to get these in there with a ratchet.

thanks v i corrected my post. i have a set of those too. come in handy with other parts of the car.

Yeah, they're one of the better additions to my toolbox.
