Need some help... Few codes popped up and need some extra advice on the ordeal.

I have a 2001 Chevy Camaro SS with a few modifications and upgrades. I bought this way, and was told it was just 02 sensors ect......

I have 3 codes showing, and need to know if my mods would make these codes appear or if I need to replace the knock sensors, and diagnose whats causes the other code.

P0171 fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1

P0327 Knock Sensor KS 1 Circuit Low Frequency

P0332 Knock Sensor KS 2 Circuit Low Frequency

Thank you in Advanced.

Who tuned the engine and why aren't you asking them? Are you running stock Knock sensor? built motors tend to shake too much for them.

I am not sure anyone is going to be able to help you. You built a custom engine normal does not apply.

agree if its not tuned it needs it, just headers will set off knock sensor. no or bad tune could also explain the lean code.

They said they did not have the engine tuned, and yes they are stock Knock sensors. No one in my area does engine tuning, the joys of small town living. I appreciate the feedback, and will try to track down someone to tune the motor to see about putting in a tune.. Thanks for the feedback. This is a new build only about a 1000 miles put on after build.. The Car runs excellent but im starting at a new, since the guy sold all his vehicles due to deployment. Not available for all the questions i want to ask.

Dude a good tune will be the best money you spent so far. There are other mail order options. Maybe give the below guy a call. Tell him the mods and ask what he would think about a mail order tune. I would think you would be best just to get a new PCM with the tune installed. Keep your original as a back up.

The mail tune will be better then a stock tune for sure. Might want to ask them if they could estimate the likely gains from a dyno tune.

Thank you for the info... I brought the SS this morningto Modified by KC a Hotrod Performance shop in Kansas City, KS for a tune. I look forward to getting it back..
