Default Need help with exhaust for 2001 SS

I just bought my 01 SS and it is all original. I do not know anything about what size exhaust came stock but I would like to take the muffler and tips off and put a 3" SLP Loudmouth II muffler on with some #EVT39 tips from Pypes that are 3". My plan is to purchase the components I want then take all this and have someone install it. Is what I am trying to do going to work or do I need to do something else. I was only planning on purchasing one loudmouth and 2 tips. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Was hoping I would get away cheaper this way, but maybe not. I am not sure. Plus with that system, I do not get the tips that I really like.

you could always go with straight pipes...they sound great and are cheap...and are less restrictive

For an SS, I would go with Corsa or Borla...

Here is a pic of the vette although it got really downsized here through the upload. I appreciate the feedback. I may go with the setup from LMP but that still would not give me the tips I want. I am still looking for some answers to my original post. Thanks. Let me know what you think of my new baby.

I bought the slp LMII from LMP performance, but when u look on afterthoughtsauto you can buy it on there cheaper. Also u can buy other tips and interchange them. Im doin square tips on mine it does cost an extra $100 for a pair.
