My first comaro
Hey guys, im new to this forum. I just bought my first comaro. Its a 1998 Z28 six speed. Its completely stock besides a knn air filter. The lady I bought it from was the only owner and she bought it new from germany. She said that it has no governor since thats not required over there. I want to build this car up like I want it and start out with new exhaust. Any recomendations? and also whats the best kind of oil I can put in this car since it has over a hundred K miles.

I use Castrol GTX in my car. For exhaust, check out some youtube vids to see what you like. I personally like the SLP LoudMouth Exhaust systems on v8 f-body's. When you do the exhaust, you might as well get headers while you're at it lol. Pacesetter long tube headers are probably your best bet. Check out summit racing. They have everything you need to make your Camaro your own. Good luck and welcome aboard!

Roach was playing around, "Camero" is another common spelling error.
I like Pennzoil Synthetic oil or AMS, but everyone has their own opinions and it reallt won't matter much; just make sure you run the correct weight, 5w-30.
Start with a catback exhaust; we can't tell you what is best as what sounds good is all opnion. HP gains between catbacks will be similar. Step it up to longtube headers, ORY and a tune and you should be close to 400hp. I'd recommend the BBK ceramics for longtubes; Pacesetter's quality will always be subpar in my mind and fitment issues are quite common with them.
