RE: my doors
The door seems to me to be two pieces the outer shell is held on by some sort of apoxy or something, i can see it on my doors but mine arent coming apart. Also im pretty sure that the doors are fiberglass and i dont think that welds very well.

Spartan we know the door is two pieces- the actual door itself and the outer door skin- clearly from what he is describing (albiet not very well) his skin is seperating from the actualdoor itself. He was talking about JB WELD (take the time to actually READ the guy's posts)- that is a brand name for a specific2 part Epoxy that is super strong when it dries- he was tryingto gluehisdoor back together, not actually trying toweldwith heat. I would recommend bringing it in to a body shop and finding outhow much to reattach the door skin properly- it most likely wont be too bad.Good luck.

RE: my doors
The door shell is made of steel, and the outer skin is plastic/fiberglass. The skin is glued onto the shell and you need a good epoxy based bonding adhesive to attach the two again. The older Vettes, up until 1972 were made of regular fiberglass, then GM started using SMC (sheet molded compound) starting in 73. I haven't taken a Camaro apart yet, but I'm sure the outer skin isn't conventional fiberglass, so don't get an adhesive that's made solely for 'glass because it won't be able to hold as well. Evercoat carries some glass products, and Ecklers sells the SMC adhesive that is stronger than the conventional stuff, but I would definitely call them first and tell them what you have going on.
