I feel your pain. Got my old 97 convertible back from my 81-yr-old dad six weeks ago, and it's needed plugs, wires, filters, wipers, HP power steering hose, serpentine, new keyless entry fobs . . . Still to come are the window motors and right fog light. Sure is fun to drive again, though. Thought is to sell it to my 15 year old first son, but I might just have to keep it myself. Let him buy the damned minivan (grin)

LOL...exactly. Let my son find his own ride! I took it to work today and it ran like a banshee. Good pickup, no wobble in the front end, no play in the steering wheel...more to follow.
