Ask them how much of a deposit would it take to buy the car today. Usually, the amount doesn't really matter because the deposit is of greater significance that you are buying the car in full as soon as possible. I'd assume $500 is even enough of one.

right on, im kinda worried cuz i dont want to seem too desperate and have him jack the price high. but i think i crossed that line the last 2 days when i called him several times around 8 am and 4pm asking if its done yet lol (they are fixing the locks and a window)

Just be clear that you are putting the deposit down for whatever price you agreed on ($4k was it?) previously.

we haven't talked price yet, but the sticker price is 4450$ right now.

Just called he said shood be ready tomorrow. God time is going so slow!! How will I make it to tomorrow, last 3 days been limbo hell.

I need this camaro bad, I really like this girl in my class and maybe she will like me back if I get the camaro, thedealer said she will.

Hey if you are going from a Mustang to a Camaro don't tie yourself down with one, You will have to beat them off with a stick once they see your new ride. 4 gens are total chick magnets.
