Default MAF

Ok so in an attempt to fix my check engine light problem im going to start with my MAF. Problem... they cost more than ther other parts i need that are more vital.. so ive been looking at Ebay and Summit and heres what ive come up with, my question is which would be a better choice pay less for a used one that may be just as fubar'd or new one that will fubar my wallet?

Ebay #1 $20.50 used( 4G63 DSM ...whats that mean?...descreened and slightly ported)

Ebay #2 $25 used

Yeah I am not a fan of buying used parts either, but if its a dud then your stuck with 2 broken mafs. You know what though for 20-25 bucks I think I would take my chances. I thought you were going to sell her since you got all that bad news from the mechanic about her.

Yeah Spartan ol chum! I have never heard of anyone here in these forums who's had as many problems with their car as you do with yours. Maybe you should just sell it and take the hit and get something that's a little more reliable and less expensive to work on. I would if I had the problems with mine as you do. Just my 2 cents.

Well Spartan...Don't go for the Grantinelli, it's a waste of money, you can buy a new housing for your stock size sensor and get a dyno proven 7 RWHP and 9 RWTQ because you have a larger diameter housing. That being said I would go for an actual AC Delco unit like stock, it'll be a bit more than the Summit sensor, but it's going to be a higher quality unit. You could also consider trying one from the junkyard...
