Smile LT4 30th anniv ss 1997

I am looking at a 850 mile legit LT4 ss 30th anniv car, no docs, r1 tires not available, looks worse underneath than a 850 mile car should, all slp decals on the doors in place and under the hood, verified the vin with slp, wheel ss center caps faded or detergent washed out, otherwise looks like a 850 mile parked inside vehicle. I am trying to get some other opinions on what this car is worth, value ranges are ok.

no documents of maintenance with mileage readings sorta make the claim useless. who would save a car like that and not. heck at those miles the motor isnt broke in yet. oil should look clear. all suspension parts should look new as well. anything that looks like its been replaced like tie rod ends or shocks would indicate more than 850 miles have been traveled. trany and rearend oil should look new. brakes as well.

also keep in mind a car that sits that long is gonna have other problems too i have a 97 30th z28 vert the guy i picked it up from had it sitting for almost 2 years. with in the first 3 months i had just about every coolent hose blow on me one at a time the water pump gasket blew out the spark plug wires where all dry rotted along with all the soft rubber vac lines and the tires where also dry rotted now none of these things are major problems the heater hoses where a bit pricey and it sure did hurt changing tires that only had a few hundred miles on them OK let me stop rambling my point is if you buy this car make sure you go over everything that can dry rot real good cause i had to fix the car a few times on the side of the road but i have one solid car now i have no regrets buying mine

About your faded SS caps, where I bought my 30th SS, the dealer had 2 of these. One had faded SS caps and one didn't. He told me it was from sitting in the sun too long.
You can buy replacements at SLP if you think you need too.

thats a valid point because the guy i bought my car from had it sitting for almost 2 years also. I had to replace the entire cooling system from hoses to the water pump but I gotta say my car is a champ now im glad i picked her up
