Hey Camaro forums,
As some of you know, I got a 1995 Camaro Z28 6 speed about a month ago.
Since I've had it, nothing but problems. Car ran great when I bought it, but when I got it home the problems began.
First, head gasket was blown. Just got that done last monday and all put back together with all new gaskets. As of yesterday, the pass. side has a rod knock. This sucks major, cuz now the whole engine has to be pulled, and bottom end completly replaced.
I bought the car for $3900, which if the car ran like the dealer said it would, then It would of been a decent price. As of now, what I payed for was a rolling chassis, with a blown engine. All the dealer would give me was $250 bucks back for the gasket set which in my opinion, they should of taken care of the whole bill.
I work very hard for my money, and for someone to rip me off that bad really makes me feel like in this world, you can't trust anyone!
I'm looking for a LT1 shortblock ( preferably a 4 bolt main) for sale.
This car is a daily driver, and now I have no transportation..
If anyone knows of a place to get a good running short block that I can transfer all my parts over to the new engine, let me know. Or, if someone has some lt1 internals they have laying around that WORK good, give me a PM.
Thanks,
Josh
