Need to know the location of Ecm on a 1993 z28...pulled the motor and i think it was missing from the firewall on pass side if that is where it is this sucks....

What are the ones that interchange with my 93 motor 5.7L?
can i find a used one somewhere?

 

15169278 is the main one that is used in the 93. it was only used in the 93 camaro and the 92 vette so not alot of em out there. its supposed to be in the hole between the fenderwell and the firewall on the passenger side. is it auto or manual?

 

It`s an automatic, it`s gone sucks **** fer sure .....There is one with #16159278 that is from a 93 5.7 pontiac FireBird was told this will work...
Going to search local bone yards in am...
Any other options for me ?
Can I Convert it to a MAF With new harnes and PCM94-95?

no they had a 4l60e and the harness and computer is different,,, well you could but would have to do some major wiring adjustment, under dash and hood also have the computer tuned/reburned. im assuming you had the bdzl prom also called a memcal. yes the 15169278 from the firebird is the same its the memcal that is probly different if not it may plug right in and work. do some looking for the dbzl prom/memcal, for a 93 auto. . i have one backup set but until i get the fast setup im holding on to it. you may have to have it tuned to your car, i am lost in the tuning, computers in general dont like me, i sent mine in and had it tested and set up.
