Default Lets Talk Suspension

OK as most of you know I have a 99, 3.8L A4, I right now have a pretty good handling car but I want better and I know I can get better. I have assembled a list of parts from UMI, BMR and Wilwood to upgrade my cornering and stopping power. The last part of my equation is the springs and sruts. Right now I have the factory parts, RPO F41 Firm Ride and handling. Can anyone enlighten me on what my spring rates are? and who makes better handling shocks without killing all my ride quality. I like how my car rides now but I am afraid that with 132K on the meter I am going to need springs and what not soon.

Hard to go wrong with Bilstein shocks, in any vehicle and in any disambiguation. Especially for the price.

I have the Eibach sport springs and shocks. Lowered about 1 1/2 inches. Ride quality suffered alot. Handling is Awesome. Be carefull if ride quality is your main concern.

so the F41 suspension package does not give me different springs? My car has a much firmer ride than other V6 Camaros I have driven and all my stuff is stock. The dealer cant tell me what rate they are but tells me that there are different part numbers based on my RPO code.

HUH?? Seeing 460 on F41? Forgive my not getting what you are saying there but what are you saying there?

Here is what I know, My car does not bottom out over my neightborhood speed bumps no matter how fast or slow I go, my Wife's car does slow but not fast, Rs/ss's car does it not matter what and his suspension came off a Z28 just like my wife's (same RPO) and my neighbor's 95 does it slow as well. My car does not have the most miles of us all but it is #2 and I am the only one with the F41 suspension. I like the ride quality I have now but I want to handle better. I know I am going to lose some ride quality for handling I just want to be able to make a more informed guess as to how much I am going to lose.
