Question LED interior lights?

'95Z Vert -

Anyone had any experience with the use of white or red LED lights to light door panel switches, console ashtray, etc. Sources?

The factory white lights (not referring to the courtesy or map lights) are a joke. I want a subtle, but brighter, lighting without seeing the lights themselves, possibly installing where the factory white lights are now.

Maybe red lighting to "wash" the console, mounted below the radio bezel (convertible-nothing overhead)

Search the Forum.

It's been done quite a few times by myself and others.

I have changed every single bulb in my interior to LED blue-white colored (switches/gauges/dash & door switches Mirror light & rear roof dome lighting. Also I did LED blue strips under the dash driver & passenger side & driver & passenger rear under seat LED strips with 2 switches mounted inside the ashtray. All the wiring is completely hidden & very clean with all connections soldered. I did this for extra lighting at night when getting in car or trying to locate stuff in the dark. It looks awesome & gives the interior a very attractive glow when toggled on.
