Default Just a few questions

Ok so i'm going to be doing a few maintanace parts on my camaro and i was wondering what to get for a some of them. first off i need a new clutch its a 3.8 so its not putting out a lot of power but it does have 4.10 rear gears if that makes a difference. i've read that the napa clutches are pretty good but then so are the spec stage 1 and the centerforce dual friction clutches. i want something that is grabby and can handle a few burn outs and posibble a few passes at the track.

next i'm putting in new shock and i'm going with some monroe sensatracs unless i can find some kyb shocks. i know they aren't bilsteins but they are still pretty good. so anyways i want some stiffer springs but I dont know if ss or Z28 springs would work or be a bad idea. i also read that the newer 4th gens had stiffer springs then the 96's. i dont want to lower the car as potholes and speed bumps will become a pita.

so any info that can help would be awesome. Also I live in canada so shipping is alot and ws6 store doesn't ship so don't try that liberty. lol.
thanks.

Centerforce dual friction clutch FTW, When I researched it I found people blowing out even the spec stage 2 clutchs. I could find no regative reviews on the Centerforce. Mine been in for 40K and it stil let out smooth as can be.

I have not gotten in the spring thing yet but I would ask if you upgraded your sway bars. That is the best way to stiffen things up around the corners and it is easy on the wallet.

A clutch should last the lifetime of the car. Lol. I'll see if I can get a good deal on the centerforce df. For the springs maybe I'll skip them and spend the extra money and just get bilsteins. Found out that bilsteins.ca has then for $127 each for the front and $98 for the backs. Not to bad considering that monroe sensa trac are $110 for the front and $50 for the rear.

DO NOT PUT SENSATRACS ON A CAMARO!!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE. Ask me how I know?!

Get Bilsteins -- better built than KYBs... WS6Store doesn't ship to Canada?! Really? Try Stranoparts.com

Do you already have an LSD?

The later model V6s like 2002 has the same rear springs as the V8, but the fronts are softer than V8s.
